Abstract

Digitalization has become an important aspect in various sectors, including public services and transportation. In today's digital era, the development of information and communication technology is increasingly rapid, allowing various services to transform towards being more efficient, transparent, and easily accessible to the public. However, in its application, problems were found, therefore, researchers are interested in identifying the Challenges and Solutions for Digitalization of Services for Local Residents at Sampalan Port, Nusa Penida District, Klungkung Regency. This study uses a qualitative method with interview techniques and direct documentation with the Coordinator of the Sampalan Port Service Unit (Korsatpel) and local residents of Batununggul Village. Based on the results of the study, it was found that low digital literacy is the main obstacle in the implementation of e- ticketing. So the solution to this problem is to implement a strategy in the form of gradual education and socialization regarding how to buy tickets digitally and the use of a non-cash payment system. With ongoing education and socialization, it is hoped that local residents can adapt more easily to this system so that the digitalization of services at Sampalan Port can run optimally.
