Pengaruh Komunikasi Dan Disiplin Kerja Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Pada Kantor Camat Bebandem Kabupaten Karangasem

Given that performance is the most important benchmark in running government agencies, good performance should be given when conducting services to the community so that employees can provide satisfaction to the community with good performance (Siregar, 2011). The problem that we usually see in general is that service is unsatisfactory because of the low performance of employees, this is a problem that needs to be considered by every government agency because of its influence, which is affecting the quantity and quality of services to the community. This is where performance becomes a reference in achieving the realization of activities in accordance with the goals, vision, goals and mission of the organization contained in the planning strategy in the organization. The process of measuring performance is progress towards work that was previously determined by goals and objectives so as to produce quality output. The objectives of this study are: To determine the effect of communication and work discipline on employee performance at the Bebandem Sub-District Office, Karangasem Regency.

In this case the independent variable is communication (X1) and work discipline (X2) at the Bebandem Sub-District Office Karangasem Regency. The dependent variable is the Employee Performance (Y) at the Bebandem Sub-District Office in Karangasem Regency. The sample used is representative of the population in this study the number of samples used is 44 employees taken as a whole because the sample is heterogeneous. Data was collected through observasim techniques, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires.

From the results of multiple linear analysis obtained a = 2.863, b1 = 0.368 and b2 = 0.814. So the regression equation is: Y = 2.863+ 0.368X1 + 0.814X2.

The results of multiple correlation analysis obtained r = 0.952. From the correlation coefficient table guide, it can be explained that there is a positive relationship between the influence of Communication (X1) and Work Discipline (X2) on Employee Performance (Y) which is a high or very strong relationship, because it is located between 0.800 to 1.199. , communication and work discipline have a very strong influence, which is 90.60%. The results of the analysis obtained f-test of 198,336 in the rejection area of Ho, where the f-test was greater than the f-table, thus the hypothesis states that there is a positive relationship between Communication and Work Discipline on Employee Performance with a strong relationship.
